The infectious disease service of our outpatient clinic deals with the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of infections of different origin and complexity, both acute and chronic.
The approach is centered on thorough clinical evaluation, interpretation of specific tests and identification of the most appropriate antibiotic or antiviral therapy, with attention to the patient’s condition and the evolution of the clinical picture.
An infectiology consultation is indicated in the presence of persistent symptoms, recurrent infections, or in cases of complex diagnoses that require precise framing and targeted therapy.
Our specialist also provides support for the management of wounds at risk of infection by performing specialized dressings in the outpatient setting.
