50,000: this is the number of people diagnosed with breast cancer in our country each year. It represents the most frequent cancer among women, and although it can strike even at a young age, in the majority of cases it is diagnosed in patients over 50.

Prevention has been key to increasing long-term survival: today, at 5 years after diagnosis, it stands at approximately 90%, among the highest in oncology.

Although some risk factors are not modifiable (e.g., genetic factors), we can say with certainty that early detection through simple tests such as mammography and ultrasound can dramatically change the progression of the disease. It is estimated that in women between the ages of 50 and 70, a mammogram every two years can reduce mortality by up to 40%.

We decided to expand our range of services by also introducing breast counseling, supported by mammography and breast ultrasound.
