Dr. Umberto De Nobili, born in Brescia on 08/30/1956, graduated in medicine and surgery in December 1982 and qualified in January 1982, at the University of Milan. Since January 28, 1982, he has been a member of the Medical Register of the province of Brescia. In 1987 he received his specialization in General Surgery from the University of Parma. In 1993 he received his specialization in Chiurgy of the digestive tract and digestive endoscopy surgery.
Since March 1986, he has been a confirmed researcher at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Brescia, where he has held, as an Aggregate Professor, teaching positions in Endocrine Surgery and General Surgery. Since July 1986 he has been affiliated as Medical Executive at the Spedali Civili di brescia, where he has operated in the Division of 1st Surgery. Since 1994 the preeminent interest has been in Endocrine Surgery and in particular in Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery.
Since 2003, he has been in charge of the Endocrinochirurgical Unit at the U.O. of General Surgery of the P.O. of Montichiari – Spedali Civili di Brescia. The surgical case history as first operator consists of more than 3500 surgeries in the field of general surgery, including more than 2000 for thyroid and parathyroid pathology.
