Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 1984 (110/110 with honors).
Specialty in Nephrology at the University of Bologna in 1988 (50/50 with honors).
Since 1989 Full-time Medical Director at the UOC of Nephrology of Spedali Civili di Brescia where he currently serves as:
- Substitute for the Director in his absence;
- Head of Male Inpatient Care (Simple Operating Unit);
- Departmental Quality Manager (RQL);
- Department head of Risk Management;
- Head of Nephro-Covid Inpatient Care during the pandemic period;
- Tutor Course of Specific Training in General Medicine, Brescia Pole.
Also, for the University of Brescia: Adjunct Professor for teaching in the School of Specialization in Nephrology.
In recent years, he has been mainly involved in the clinical management of Acute and Chronic Renal Insufficiency, the diagnosis and therapy of Primary and Secondary Glomerulonephritis, Arterial Hypertension in Nephropathies, Cardio-vascular Pathology in Chronic Renal Insufficiency and nephrological complications in the cardiac patient.
