Specialist in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine
- Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan cum Laude in 1982
- Specialization in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at the University of Milan in 1986 and in Internal Medicine at the University of Brescia in 1991.
Since 1988, he has worked as a Medical Director at Spedali Civili di Brescia, first in Internal Medicine and later in Gastroenterology. The main field of interest concerns pathologies of the gastroenteric system and liver in adults, in which he has gained extensive and in-depth professional experience. The training activity was enriched by a period spent in a foreign highly specialized setting in the years 1987-88 (Gastroenterology Unit of St. George’s Hospital, London – UK).
She held a highly specialized professional position within the SSVD Gastroenterology of the ASST – Spedali Civili of Brescia and was in charge of outpatient clinics dedicated to the general framing and/or follow-up of various pathological conditions with a high degree of complexity.
In the scientific field, she has co-authored several articles and regularly participates in national and international congresses and conferences, including as a speaker.
