Specialist in Breast Radiology
Dr. Facchetti graduated in Medicine from the University of Brescia with grades 110/110 cum laude. He specialized in Radiodiagnostics at the University of Brescia with grades 50/50 cum laude. During his specialty, Dr. Facchetti completed a one-year research fellowship at the Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Department, University of California, San Francisco/USA. He also completed training in breast radiology with a two-month clinical fellowship at the South General Hospital Breast Center (Södersjukhuset Bröstcentrum), Stockholm/Sweden.
A medical radiologist at Spedali Civili in Brescia, dootor Facchetti performs work in the sections of traditional radiology, ultrasound (abdomen, neck, thyroid, soft tissue, vascular doppler) and CT (neck, chest, abdomen, limbs, angio-CT and other).
Since his residency days, dr. Facchetti, however, has been specializing mainly in the field of senology at the Brescia breast center and with a fellowship in Stockholm.
He devotes himself in this area to mammography and tomosynthesis examinations, breast ultrasound, mammography screening, MRI and biopsies under ultrasound and stereotactic guidance.
Since 2017, she has been a member of the senology section of SIRM and EUSOBI.
