Specialist in Radiology with focus on Neuroradiology since 2005 (50 with honors) at the School of Specialty in Radiodiagnostics, University of Brescia. Since February 2006 hired as medical director UO Neuroradiology Spedali Civili as an expert neuroradiologist in the diagnosis of all pathology affecting the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) using the three main methodologies ( MRI, TaC and angiography). Since April 2013 appointment of highest professionalism in the field of endovascular minimally invasive techniques of cerebral and spinal vascular malformative diseases ( aneurysms , AVMs and FAVDs, embolization of Head&neck tumors, stenting of supra-aortic and intracranial trunks stenosis as well as stroke treatment by thrombectomy).
He also performs percutaneous treatment of low back pain.
He operates in the treatment of cerebral aneurysmal pathology, cerebral and spinal dural fistulas, arteriovenous malformations, cerebral and supra-aortic trunks steno-occlusive pathology (to date, about 1000 procedures as a first operator).
Provides h24 coverage at the Spedali Civili UO of Neuroradiology for hyperacute (within 6 hours of symptoms) treatment of cerebral ischemic stroke with intracerebral blood clot removal/aspiration endovascular procedures. He has refined minimally invasive spinal-vertebral techniques for pain therapy in patients with degenerative disc and joint pathology. Also specialized in the diagnostic phase of cerebral and spinal-midline pathology median MRI 1.5 tesla and 3 Tesla, CT and angiography.
- Since 2017, he has been a consultant for interventional neuroradiology at Cremona Hospital;
- Since 2018, he has been collaborating with the largest Italian center for the treatment of head&neck tumors (Otological Center of Piacenza prof M.Sanna).
To date, more than 2700 endovascular treatments certified as first operator.
He is proctor specialist for leading endovascular firms ( Stryker, Penumbra, Balt).
