Specialist in Diabetology
With a degree in Medicine and Surgery, in 1994 Dr. Angela Girelli graduated from the School of Specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases, specializing in diabetology. In 2004, she then obtained the “Diplom de Formation Continue en Education Therapeutique du patient, DETMC” in Geneva and the European specialization diploma.
Numerous are the positions she has held, among which we mention the most recent:
- Full-time fellowship holder USSL 41 of Brescia for research in the field of diabetes aimed at, in addition to outpatient care of the diabetic patient, the study of the epidemiology of chronic complications of diabetic disease and therapeutic education of people with diabetes;
- Assistant in charge of service medicine -diabetology area- of USSL 41 in Brescia. He continued in this area the care activities for the diabetic patient and research activities.
