Specialist in Cardiology
From July 18, 1991 to the present, he has been continuously employed as a cardiology physician, in the discipline of Cardiology at Spedali Civili di Brescia where, over the years, he has been engaged in the management of the Coronary Unit, the female and male inpatient wards, electrophysiology, preoperative surgical evaluation and consultations for noncardiac wards , outpatient activity and echocardiography, and, again, for the past 14 years he has professed in the Cardiology Intensive Care Unit until December 2018. He has been working in the Cardiology Department since January 2019.
- Degree in Medicine, University of Brescia, March 5, 1984 discussing a thesis in Cardiology on “Myocardial involvement in Duchenne muscular dystrophy”
- On July 7, 1988, he received his Postgraduate Diploma in Cardiology from the University of Brescia with grades 50/50 cum laude.
- From July to December 1989, he served as a research physician in Cardiovascular Pathophysiology at the Experimental Cardiology Laboratory of the Division of Cardiology, University of California, San Diego, directed by Prof. John Ross Jr.
- In November 2006, he received his second specialization in the discipline of “Sports Medicine” from the University of Brescia.
