Specialist in General Surgery
Enrolled, since the 1989/90 Academic Year, in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Brescia, I obtained, on 27/07/1995, the Degree in Medicine and Surgery with a grade of 110/110 with honors. I obtained my Habilitation to practice as a medical surgeon in the first session of the year 1996 with a grade of 90/90.
I have been registered in the Register of Doctors-Surgeons of the Province of Brescia since 30/05/1996 at No. 6293. On 13/11/2001, I obtained my specialization in General Surgery, at the School of Specialization in General Surgery of the University of Brescia, directed by Prof. S. M. Giulini. During the period of the School of Specialization I attended the service of “Non-Invasive Vascular Diagnostics” acquiring specific skills on the Eco-Color-Doppler method, performing over 3000 examinations (supra-aortic trunks; venous and arterial lower limbs, dynamic penile).
Since September 2001, I have been an employee of the Spedali Civili di Brescia at the Emergency Department as a Level I Medical Executive and since 2002 I have been in charge of the Non-Invasive Vascular Diagnostic Service of the U.O. Poliambulatori Territoriali of the Spedali Civili di Brescia, located at the Presidio of Via Corsica. Since 2008, I have been part of the medical staff of the “Basket Brescia Leonessa” sports club.
In the academic year 2009-2010, I successfully attended the Postgraduate Course in Medical Oxygen-Ozone Therapy at the University of Siena held by Prof. Velio Bocci, and since then I have been performing intraforaminal injections of O2 -O3. CT guided. I served on the Organizing Committee of the 3rd World Congress of the International Society of Oxygen-Ozone Therapy (FIO-WOOFT) held in Brescia, Italy.
I attended the Level II Master’s Degree in Oxygen Ozone Therapy held by the training institution X-Ray Service; I am a SIUMB (Italian Society of Ultrasonography in Medicine and Biology) member.
